Hi there

It's Friday! I hope you had a great week! Today is gorgeous in Door County, Wisconsin! We are having the best summer here!

Every Saturday we go to the farmers market. I'm hoping to find some more local strawberries! I picked some up last week and they were delicious!

Move over banana bread. Don't get me wrong, I love my best ever Blender Banana Bread but, why not change things up this weekend and bake my Strawberry Bread!

It's so easy so yummy and a taste of summer! That pretty strawberry glaze on top makes it extra special! You gotta try it!

Speaking of strawberries, don't let summer go by without making my Strawberry Shortcakes! My way is so easy! I have a shortcut. I buy a tube of refrigerated biscuits and jazz them up with butter and a little sugar. Then, fresh strawberries and fresh whipped cream! These are a taste of summer! These will be a winner at your backyard BBQ for sure!

We've been grilling almost ever night all summer. I'm lovin' it. I'm a bit tired of brats and burgers. Why not try something different! My Steak and Veggie Kabobs are easy breezy but they feel so fancy!

I make super good Chicken and Veggie Kabobs too with an amazing 2 ingredient marinade!

On side why not change things up too! In the summer we like to keep it light. I love kabobs over rice or couscous. My Mushroom Couscous is so good! It's good for you too! Don't like mushrooms or tomatoes, leave them out and add the veggies and herbs you like! If you are new to making couscous, no worries I got ya!

Every summer party needs a delicious dip or two! My grandmother Mimi's Crab Dip is a family favorite. Mimi is no longer with us but she LOVED summer and having summer parties! Every time I make this I think of her and all the fun summers on Walloon Lake we had! I sure do miss you Mimi!
