Hi there

It's Friday! YIPPEE! I hope you had a great week! We've got almost two feet of snow on the ground here in Door County, Wisconsin. It's been bitter cold but it's finally warming up a bit!

This weekend we're going to embrace winter and go cross country skiing or snow shoeing or both!

We've been trying to keep warm and cozy the last couple weeks. It's soup season and I've made some of my favorites.

My Hungarian Sausage Soup is so easy and it's just something a little different. It's loaded with smoked sausage and potatoes in a lovely tomato chicken broth.

That little bit of sour cream you add at the end makes it extra special. I love to serve it with an extra dollop of sour cream on top and crusty bread for dunking and dipping.

This soup isn't an all day deal. In fact it's done in 30 minutes or less. LOVE THAT! You gotta try it!

My Taco Soup is like a party in a bowl! If you're kids like tacos they'll love this! Serve it with fun taco toppers like shredded cheese, sour cream. Serve it with tortilla chips on the side or crushed on top. This is so fun and easy! You can lighten it up and use ground turkey too!

Have you ever made soup in your crockpot? My Slow Cooker Loaded Potato Soup is a family favorite! It's crazy easy. Just load all the ingridients in your crockpot and in a couple hours soup's on! I serve it with fun potato toppers like crumbled bacon, shredded cheese and green onions. This soup makes everybody happy! It's like a warm hug in a bowl! Why not make it this weekend!

Besides soup, it's casserole time!

Okay, I'm the Queen of Casseroles, so I'm always up for making a cozy delicious hot dish!

This Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti Casserole is one of my ALL TIME FAVES! Growing up my kids used to beg me to make this. It's that good!

Pick up a rotisserie chicken and make it even easier. This casserole is so good, it's even company worthy. You can make it up to 4 days ahead and bake it when you're ready. It's AMAZING!

My Sausage and Gorgonzola Pasta Bake is another company worthy casserole. It feels kind of fancy. This a the perfect casserole to make for a special dinner in!

For dessert in winter there's nothing better an an ooey, goey treat nice and warm right out of the oven.

My Coconut Peach Dump Cake is perfect.

Just dump it all together and bake. We love it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. So yummy!
