Hi there

Happy Friday! Happy Fall! The leaves are finally started to change. It's so pretty here in Wisconsin. Next week I'm super excited to take in the fall colors on Mackinac Island.

If you've never been to Mackinac Island you need to go. It's AMAZING! There are no cars on the island so it's like you've stepped back in time. Our resort is so beautiful! The food is so delicious! Great shopping and the such gorgeous scenery!

AMY'S AT KOHLER FOOD AND WINE!

This weekend I'm excited to be one of the emcees at the annual Kohler Food and Wine Celebration in beautiful Kohler, Wisconsin about an hour north of Milwaukee. Have you ever been to Kohler? I love this town! It's so charming and in the fall it's just over the top beautiful! I get to introduce the celebrity chefs and wine experts. This weekend there are some big names here! I promise to take lots of pictures and post them Instagram and Facebook! I can't wait to see who I run into.

It's finally soup season. I broke out my fall coat this week. If you need a last minute side dish to go with soups, stews or chili, my super easy Beer Bread is perfect!

The secret is keeping self rising flour on hand. You can whip this bread up for in minutes! No yeast, no waiting for the dough to rise. We love it warm out of the oven with butter on top! By the way if you don't have self-rising flour, no worries. You can add a baking powder and a little salt to regular all-purpose flour. Click Beer Bread for the recipe,

It's chili time! Why not make some this weekend! My Quick Ranch Chili is a family favorite. My kids Riley and Ireland used to beg me to make this. A packet of dry Ranch dressing give this chili really great flavor! Try it! I think your gang will love it!

I LOVE chili but sometimes it doesn't love me. LOL! My solution is my Way Too Easy White Chicken Chili. It's just 5 ingredients. It's SO YUMMY quick and easy and it's healthy too! So, go ahead. Have seconds. I love this with a little sour cream, cilantro and crushed Fritos on top! You just gotta try it! Pick up a rotisserie chicken to make this chili even easier.

Besides chili this time of year, I make lots of soup. We LOVE soup! I make a big batch at least once a week. My Sausage and Cheese Chowder is one of my most popular recipes! It was even featured in the New York Times as THE ULTIMATE game day recipe. I agree!

This soup loaded with smoked sausage, potatoes, cheese and beer! What's not to love! Just throw it all in your crock pot and in a few hours soup's on!

Got some green peppers that need using? Make my Stuffed Pepper Soup. This is another one of my MOST POPULAR and favorite fall recipes. It's a WINNER! This recipes makes a big batch andf freezes great. We love it with a little cheese on top. Parmesan or even shredded cheddar. It's lick the bowl good!

A can of ginger ale is the secret ingredient to make these extra yummy! We love these for game day or a delicious fall dinner!
