Every year I love to put a big beautiful salad on our Thanksgiving table.  I like to start our dinner out with something fresh, colorful and pretty.  My Poached Pear Salad with Maple Mustard Dressing has it all! Why not add it to your Thanksgiving menu. I promise it will be a huge hit! It's super easy! 

You can make the dressing and poach the pears a few days ahead. 

If you can get thing done ahead, do it.   I sure don't want to be stuck in the kitchen the whole day! I want to enjoy Thanksgiving too!

Speaking of poached pears, I love them!  They make a really nice light dessert.   

Here's my way to make super delicious Poached Pears. Great on their own or with a little fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top.

Move over pumpkin pie.  This year why not make my light delicious Pumpkin Mousse!  It looks and tastes so fancy but it's actually super easy!  Everybody loves it! It even won a recipe contest! Try it!
