Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week! We sure have! Hello from Vienna, Austria! It's such a beautiful city filled with so much life, history and music! Great food too!

I'm a coffee lover! When in Vienna, we went for Viennese coffee! It was so delicious!

We went to one of the most famous coffee houses in Europe! It's a place where writers and artists used to go and hang out like

Arthur Miller and Andy Warhol. It's filled with so much history! What a treat!

We started this amazing trip with two wonderful fun filled days in Munich, Germany. We had so much fun at the famous Hofbrau Haus beer hall!

I've got such a fun group! We all loved Munich and all that wonderful German food!

We're on the most AMAZING river cruise on the Danube. This is an annual group trip and it's one of my favorite Cooking Mom Vacations! We get to see and do so much! We'll visit 4 different countries and lots of charming cities in Europe! The scenery is breathtaking!

It's always hard when a trip like this comes to an end but I'm excited to get home to our dog Arlo. I'm also so excited for the rest of summer! I can't wait to get home and start cooking with all the fresh garden goodies! It's tomato time! I'm so excited for the summer tomatoes! I LOVE a good BLT sandwich. My BLT Dip is the perfect summer appetizer. Super easy and you can make it ahead. I serve it with pita or bagel chips. So yummy! Click Appetizers for more fun dips to really get the party started!

We've had the most delicious sausages here in Germany and Austria! We also have amazing sausages in Wisconsin! I can hardly wait to get my hands on some Wisconsin sweet corn! I haven't had any all summer! Pick up your favorite smoked sausage, corn on the cob, potatoes, onions and peppers and make my Smoked Sausage and Veggie Foil Packets. Foil packet cooking is a great way to go in the summer! Throw these packets on the grill or over a grate on the campfire. They are so full of flavor and no mess to clean up. LOVE THAT! For dessert no need to turn on the oven and heat up the house. Pick up an angel food cake and use the fresh blueberries to make this nice light Lemon Blueberry Trifle. You can layer this in one big trifle dish or pretty glass bowl or make individual desserts and layer it in mini trifle dishes, canning jars or even clear plastic cups. So pretty and so easy!
