We just got home from Mackinac Island. It was my annual Cooking Mom Vacation to the island for the Lilac Festival and it was fabulous!
We had such a fun group of people from all over the country. We lucked out and had great weather. I love visiting this time of year because the entire island as covered in 250 different varieties of lilacs in shades of pinks, purples, and white. It's

It's always hard to leave Mackinac Island but today we are flying to Greece! I know! Crazy! But, we love to travel and I love hosting amazing group vacations! I'm so excited! This is a bucket list trip! I've got a wonderful group of people going and we're going to eat our way around Athens and two Greek Islands! We're taking some Greek Cooking classes too! Father's Day is always a bit hard. My Dad passed away a few years ago but he's always in my
heart! My dad was famous for his Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. I still have his old electric ice cream maker. I break it out every summer. Have you ever made homemade ice cream. weekend! My Ginger Soy Flank Steak is my all time favorite! The marinade gives the steak so much flavor and keeps it nice and juicy! I love a good flank steak because it's easy on the wallet. Slice it into thin trips against the grain and one big steak can

If dad likes seafood, (mine sure did) why not do surf and turf. My Bacon Wrapped Shrimp ALWAYS gets the party started.
