Happy Labor Day weekend! What a summer! Hoyt and I got married last week in Hawaii.  We want to THANK YOU all so much for all your kind words and well wishes!  Our wedding was everything I've dreamed of! We were surrounded by family and friends and so much love! We've gotten a few wedding pictures. 

I can't wait to see and share more soon!

This week we've been enjoying a relaxing honeymoon.  We spent a few days in Honolulu and now we're in Laguna Beach, California.  It's been so wonderful but it's time.  I'm ready to go home for the weekend.

I can't even believe it's Labor Day weekend! Summer sure flew by. As mentioned I'm excited to get home.  We've missed our dog Arlo! I can't wait for for a quiet Labor Day weekend! I'm looking so forward to grilling out and enjoying lovely dinners at home.  Don't let the end of summer slip by without BBQ ribs! My Ribs 'n Beer is my secret way to make tender, juicy delicious ribs the easy way! Bake them today or tomorrow and then grill them up when you are ready! So yummy! On the side gotta have potato salad! My Loaded Potato Salad is loaded with potatoes, bacon, cheese and green onions in a creamy Ranch Dressing. Total YUM! I make a mean Easy German Potato Salad ! Got corn? The local sweet corn season is short.  Now is the time to get some.  Use that corn and even leftover corn on the cob to make this big beautiful Southwest Corn and Black Bean Salad.  It looks so pretty on that potluck buffet! It's a salad but it makes a healthy fresh dip with tortilla chips or Fritos too! Great either way! Now's a great time to get extra ears of corn on the cob and use my way to make Freezer Corn for that taste of summer all winter long! 

If you're grilling Brats this weekend, make sure to do them my way in a "Brat Tub" filled with butter, beer, onions and Kraut! BEST BRATS EVER! 

Gotta bring the beans? My Jazzed Up Baked Beans takes canned beans to a whole new level! So easy too! Got a big crowd coming this weekend? Make my BIG BATCH of Baked Beans in the Slow Cooker! These are ALWAYS A WINNER!

For dessert keep it easy breezy with a no bake Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle.  Make one big dessert in a pretty glass bowl or mini desserts in canning jars, wine glasses or for easy clean up  clear plastic cups!
