They pampered and really spoiled us on our river cruise. The food was AMAZING! But, it's good to be home and cooking again! I'm so excited to go to the farmers market tomorrow!
I can't wait to load up on fresh veggies! Earlier this week I stopped by a local farm stand to pick up a fresh things like zucchini. Got zucchini? I know there's a lot of it right now! Use it and some of your other veggies to make this quick and easy Pasta Primavera. It's so bright and colorful! Load it up with broccoli, carrots, zucchini, red peppers
and whatever veggies that need using. The creamy homemade alfredo sauce makes this dish extra special! Why not make it this week! You can add cooked chicken or shrimp on top too!
I love making kabobs in the summer! They just feel kind of fancy! It's a nice change from the usual burgers and brats. These Italian Sausage Kabobs are crazy easy! Load them up with peppers and onions and even zucchini! I serve them hot off the grill with marinara sauce for dipping. What fun! Kids love these too! You know what they say. Everything tastes better on a
stick! I agree! I make great Chicken and Veggie Kabobs and Brat Kabobs too! Click Dinner for more fun recipes that will really WOW your family and guests this summer!
Speaking of kabobs, how cute are these! Need to bring dessert? These Strawberry Cream Puff Kabobs couldn't be easier to put together! Drizzle some melted chocolate on top and you'll really look like a rockstar! LOVE THAT!
The local Wisconsin sweet corn is finally here! I haven't had good corn on the cob all summer! I can't wait to get my hands on some this weekend! Use it to make this AMAZING Cheesy Corn and Green Chile Casserole! It's THE ULTIMATE summer side dish! It goes with steaks, chicken, pork chops or whatever you are grilling! You gotta try it! Hey, why not pick up some extra sweet corn and
freeze it for a taste of summer all winter long! Here's my way to do Freezer Corn.
