It’s a trifecta weekend. It's Mother's Day on Sunday. YIPPEE! I’m wishing all you AMAZING moms a VERY Happy Mother’s Day! Besides Mother’s Day, Saturday is also my birthday AND it’s Derby Day! I was born on Derby Day! My mom says she told the doctor she needed to have the baby before the big race. Sure enough, she did! I want to thank you for all of your love, kindness and support over the last year. Thank you for enjoying my recipes, secrets and stories!

I’ve got some exciting things ahead! I have a brand new website launching VERY SOON. You’re gonna love it! Plus, I’m working on my 3rd cookbook! I’m planning lots more culinary vacations too!

We just got back from an FANTASTIC trip to Ireland. We had such a fun group! I’m definitely planning to go back. Join me!

I’m excited to be home with both my kiddos this Mother’s Day! Both Riley and Ireland are out of college and working hard. I’m one proud momma! Over the years we cooked up some serious memories together. They always wanted to be in the kitchen with me. Thank goodness they still do!

I’ve always been a big believer in getting the kids in the kitchen. Sure it can be a bit messy but I always say that’s what vacuums and dogs are for. LOL! Here’s a fun idea for this weekend. Why not make my Cinnamon Roll and Sausage Butterflies? How CUTE are these? Have the kids help make and decorate them. What fun! I think we all need a little sunshine and butterflies right now!

My Sticky Bun Coffee Cake is an extra special treat to wake up to. Mom will LOVE it! I know I sure do. I also love that you throw it together Saturday night before you go to bed. Then just put it in the oven Sunday morning and wait for the house to start smelling like cinnamon and sugar and all things wonderful. Now take it out of the oven and bring it warm to the table and watch everybody pull it apart and devour it. No knife necessary but plenty of napkins are a must. Ooey, gooey, and DELICIOUS!

Earlier this week, I was on WGN-TV in Chicago cooking up the ULTIMATE Mother’s Day brunch! I made My Absolute Favorite Brunch Bake, and my Fruit Salad with Honey Poppy Seed Dressing! Now, that’s one delicious holiday brunch! Click Breakfast & Brunch for more of my favorite recipes.

On the weekends, I try to make something that seems a little fancy. My Elegant Ham and Chicken Casserole is always a WINNER and perfect for Mother’s Day or a special spring dinner!
