Hi Cooking Moms, Dads & Friends,

Happy Friday! Fall is in the air. It’s starting to get a bit chilly here in Wisconsin. I’m craving soup! This weekend is the perfect time to make a big batch!

My Hungarian Sausage Soup is something a little different and wonderful. It’s really hearty and delicious and filled with potatoes and sausages. It will warm you right up on a cold fall day. Super easy too! I serve it with crusty rye bread or my 4-ingredient home made Beer Bread for dipping and dunking. YUMMY!

Speaking of potatoes, I don’t know about you but I want mine loaded! Next week I’ll be making my Slow Cooker Loaded Potato Soup on Twin Cities Live. If you’re in the Minneapolis area I hope you’ll watch! This soup is so simple to make. Just dump it all in your slow cooker and in a few hours dinner’s done! Perfect for game day too! I serve it with bowls of extra cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions or chives so everybody can load up their bowls with goodness! Click Soups for more super good soup, stew and chili recipes.

My Green Bay Packers play Monday night. I’m already planning my game day spread. My Sweet Little Pigs are always a winner!

I’m all about a good dip, too! My Hot Swiss Almond Dip is perfect for fall! You can throw it together in minutes and bake it when you are ready. I serve it with crackers or French bread for dipping. You just gotta try it! It’s heavenly! Click Appetizers for more delicious dips and appetizer recipes.

You gotta serve a big messy sandwich. It’s a game day MUST! My Slow Cooker Hot Beef Sandwiches are THE BEST EVER! Click Sandwiches and Slow Cooker for more satisfying recipes.

On the side, you can’t go wrong with my Cheesy Hash Brown Hot Dish! It’s AMAZING!

Remember that it’s apple season! I’m hoping to go apple picking this weekend. Got apples? Use them to make my Waldorf Salad. It’s old school and in my book it never went out of style! This salad goes great with whatever you’re serving. Click Salads, Sides and Casseroles for more fall recipes ideas.

For dinner, take ordinary chicken breasts and make them extra special with my recipe for Chicken Breasts with Apple Cider Cream Sauce. Make this and you definitely will look like a rock star! Click Dinner for more hearty recipes.

For dessert, warm up with Easy Apple Dumplings. Fresh out of the oven with vanilla ice cream, they're heavenly! Click Desserts for more fun fall treats.

Join Me for a Culinary Vacation! Booking Now for Fall 2021 for a River Cruise through Europe and Oktoberfest in Germany!

Have you heard I’m hosting culinary vacations? Last year I took a group of 35 to Tuscany! It was the trip of a lifetime! This fall we were supposed to be in Germany for Oktoberfest, then our group was going on an 8-day River Cruise through Germany, Switzerland, and France. Well, as we all know, everything changed. But I have great news! The trip has been re-booked for next September 2021!
