Hi Cooking Moms, Dads & Friends,

I hope you are having a great week! The weather has been gorgeous here in Wisconsin! I’m sending out my weekly newsletter a bit early this week because of the holiday weekend. The 4th of July is one of my all time favorite holidays! This year I know it’s going to be a lot different. No parades or fireworks in my town. Better to be safe! But, I still plan to celebrate and make it delicious!

Every good summer party needs a fun, festive fruit salad! I love serving lots of fresh fruit in the summer. How cute is my Star Spangled Fruit Salad? Super easy too! Have the kids help cut the watermelon with cookie cutters. I serve fruit with my Fantastic Fruit Dip! It’s ALWAYS a hit! Click Appetizers for more fun recipes to get the party started.

Want to keep the ccoking really easy breezy this weekend? Get out your slow cooker and make my Sloppy Joes for a Crowd. Then, when it's mealtime, just set the slow cooker on your table with a pile of buns and everybody can help themselves. Love that!

I know one thing, we’re are grilling brats this weekend! Bring them on! My Brat Tub is my favorite way to do brats. Click Dinner, Sandwiches and Slow Cooker for more of my favorite summer recipes.

On the side, my you gotta have baked beans! My Baked Beans in the Slow Cooker are AMAZING!

The kids will love my Southern Style Mac ’n Cheese. Creamy and cheesy, and you can make it ahead. LOVE that!

I even have a recipe for Slow Cooker Mac ’n Cheese. It’s crazy easy and crazy good!

If you like macaroni salad, try my Mighty Good Macaroni Salad!

Speaking of salads, my Broccoli Bacon Salad and Best Ever Layered Salad are my summer go-to’s. They go with everything you are grilling! Click Salads for more of my favorite summer salad recipes.

For dessert, why not celebrate strawberry season with my All American Berry Trifle? It's so gorgeous and festive. The strawberries are so beautiful right now!

My Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries are so easy and so cute! Or, use the beautiful berries to make my Berry Cheesecake Trifles! My Root Beer Float Cupcakes and are another ultimate taste of summer! Click Desserts for more fun summer sweet treat recipes.
