TGIF! I hope you had a good week! It’s finally here. Bring on Memorial Day weekend! It’s wonderful having my daughter, Ireland home. She’s been quarantined in Minneapolis where she goes to college. This weekend we plan to just chill out. Maybe we’ll go on a hike or a bike ride. I sure hope the weather in Wisconsin cooperates so we can fire up the grill!

I am so thankful to all of you who are watching me cook from my kitchen weekdays on Facebook LIVE. Maybe next week I can get Ireland to cook with me on Facebook! I’m taking a break this weekend but I’ll be back at it starting Tuesday! Hope you’ll watch weekdays LIVE at 3:30pm CST. I’ve got lots of new fun recipes for summer. I can’t wait to share them with you!

As always, my plan is to keep it simple this weekend. I sure don’t want to be stuck in the kitchen all weekend. I know you don’t either!

I’ve got some super simple dip recipes to get the the weekend started! My layered BLT Dip is fun, colorful and so good! Not to mention you can’t go wrong with bacon! For something a bit healthier what about my Black Bean and Mango Salsa? It’s always a hit!

Ranch Deviled Eggs are Ireland's favorite! We are definitely making these too this weekend!

My Fantastic Fruit Dip couldn't be easier. Just 2 ingredients! And, trust me it's AMAZING! I serve it with fresh strawberries or pretty fruit kabobs for dipping. It's so yummy that it doubles as a quick no-bake dessert. For Memorial Day weekend why not have the kids thread berries and bananas on skewers and make a Fruit Kabob Flag. It's so cute! Take a picture quick because the dip and kabobs will be gone before you know it!

I’m craving brats on the grill! My Brat Tub recipe is the way to go! That way I don't have to be “womaning" the grill the whole time. I get those brats going and then throw them in a tub (foil pan) of goodness with loads of butter, onions, kraut and beer - of course. They stay nice and cozy and warm and juicy in the brat tub and folks can just help themselves to one when they're hungry. You can throw them all in your slow cooker to keep warm too. I’m so excited for all those summer salads. My Pesto Pasta Salad is so fresh! It goes with whatever you are grilling. Leftovers make a great lunch too. I make a Mighty Good Macaroni Salad too!
