Hi Cooking Moms, Dads & Friends, It’s been more than 4 weeks since life as we know it drastically changed. I hope you are all healthy and hanging in there. I know it’s not easy! Many of you may know I too am working from home. A month ago I started cooking LIVE on Facebook. A huge THANK YOU to all of you who are watching daily. As long as we are stuck home, I’m going to keep on cooking and doing what I do best! I’m sharing simple, easy recipes to help get you through this difficult time. You can see me at 3:30pm CST LIVE daily from my kitchen! By the way, I’m super excited to team up with Kwik Trip! The folks there heard about what I was doing. I’ll be cooking a couple of my ALL TIME FAVORITE recipes like my Blender Banana Bread this Sunday, April 19th at 3pm CST. Like and follow Kwik Trip on Facebook to see me Sunday. Hope you'll watch. Let’s cook together! Even though life is different right now meals can still be delicious! One of my secrets is cook once and get a few different meals out of it. Here’s a tip, if you didn’t do a ham for Easter, pick one up this weekend. They are on sale big time! Hey, maybe even buy two and freeze one for later! We made a delicious ham with my Brown Sugar and Mustard Glaze last weekend. I turned the leftover ham into several different meals this week, like my Elegant Ham and Swiss Casserole. I’ve been making it for years. I’m the QUEEN of CASSEROLES click Casseroles for more of my favorite recipes. I’m a HUGE fan of one skillet wonders! They are quick and easy, and the best part is just one dish to wash. YES! My Skillet Tortellini with Ham seems fancy. Nobody needs to know how easy it was to throw together. Click Dinner for more fun and delicious recipes. It’s been chilly this week, but this weekend it’s supposed to warm up a bit here in Wisconsin. I may fire up the grill and make my Baked Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches. You wrap them in foil so they are super easy breezy in the oven or on the grill. The secret spread makes these the BEST EVER. You just gotta try them! They are really tasty with my Quick Ham and Bean Soup. Got eggs that need to be eaten up? I hear you! Click Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs to read my secret way to make great hard boiled eggs! Then turn those eggs into my Excellent Egg Salad Sandwiches. They are simple and so good! Can I tell you how much I LOVE Deviled Eggs? My daughter Ireland’s favorite are Ranch Deviled Eggs. Also try adding a bit of finely diced ham and make my Deviled Eggs and Ham. They are pretty AMAZING! Click Soups, Sandwiches and Appetizers for more tantalizing recipes. My slow cooker is getting a real work out these days! When we are stuck at home, it’s so nice to smell dinner cooking all day. It gives us all something to look forward to! I made my Scalloped Potatoes and Ham this week for dinner and then we had the leftovers for lunch. Click Slow Cooker Secrets to read my blog post with more great slow cooker recipes!
