Hi Cooking Moms, Dads & Friends, TGIF! It’s going to be another fun weekend! Here in Wisconsin we’ve got football fever! The Green Bay Packers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday in the NFC championship game. The winner goes to the Super Bowl! Aaron Rogers vs. Tom Brady. No matter who you are cheering for this is gonna be good! There will just be two of us watching but I’m still planning a delicious game day spread filled with lots of fun appetizers. We LOVE meatballs! I have a can of cranberry sauce leftover from the holidays so I’m making my Cranberry Meatballs. They are THE BEST and so easy! Just dump all the ingredients in your slow cooker. Or bring on the bacon. My Sweet Little Pigs are a family favorite! Salty and a bit sweet. Just yummy! I think I’ll make a couple delicious dips too like my Hot Artichoke Crab Dip. It’s AMAZING! My homemade Dill Dip is always a must. I surround it with lots of crunchy fresh colorful veggies for dipping. Click Appetizers for more dip and snack recipes. One of my favorite soups to make on game day is my Sausage and Cheese Chowder. The New York Times featured my recipe as the ultimate tailgate food. I agree! It’s got it all - brats, beer, and loads of cheese! What's not to love? You just gotta make this. It’s lick-the-bowl good! Click Soups for more of my chili, soup, and stew recipes. Speaking of brats, if you’re grilling, try it my way. My Brat Tub method keeps the brats warm and nice and juicy! I’ll take mine with lots of kraut and onions please! A big messy sandwich is also a game day must! My Hot Beef Sandwiches are so good. Buy a big chuck roast because the leftovers are great over mashed potatoes. On the side, my Cheesy Hash Brown Hot Dish is a WINNER! It’s perfect to go with whatever else you are cooking up. We love my Best Ever Layered Salad. The creamy Parmesan dressing on top is to die for! Click Salads and Sides for lots more recipe ideas. For dessert, keep things easy breezy with my no bake Cookies and Cream Cheese Ball. How cute is this? Click Desserts for more delicious dessert recipes. Order Amy's Cookbooks! If you like my recipes, I think you will love my cookbooks. Both cookbooks are filled with nearly 200 unique recipes. They're available on Amazon. Click Amy's Books on Amazon to order. My Culinary Trips Are Filling Up! Then, in September 2021 join me for a river cruise through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in September. I’ve always dreamed of taking a river cruise through Europe.
