Hi Cooking Moms, Dads & Friends,

Happy Friday! It’s Halloween weekend! I know it’s going to be so much different than normal but my plan is to still make it fun and yummy! I’m excited for my Slow Cooker Honey Lime Chicken. It makes for a delicious taco night in. Just throw it all together and in a few hours dinner is done and your house smells so good!

I’m going to serve it with my Spider Web Taco Dip! How cute is this? Easy breezy too. Now bring on the margaritas!

You can’t go wrong with a big batch of chili this weekend. My Quick Ranch Chili is a family favorite! A packet of dry Ranch dressing gives it so much flavor! Click Slow Cooker, Soups and Stews and Dinner for more of my favorite fall recipes.

There’s so much candy around Halloween. I say you gotta offer some healthy treats too! My Halloween Fruit Kabobs are so easy! I serve them with my Orange Fluff Dip. The kids can even help make these! Putting fruit on a stick and serving it with a delicious dip is a great way to make fruit more fun! Click Secrets for lots more of my secrets, tips, and tricks!

My Spider Web Pizza is another super easy idea for this weekend. You can make mini pizzas too. Let the kids put on their toppings and help decorate!

Dress up ordinary hot dogs and make them spooktacular by turning them into Mummy Dogs! The ketchup and mustard spider web dipping sauce makes these even more festive.

Click Sandwiches and Appetizers for tempting fall recipes.

For dessert throw your apron on and make my Dirt Cupcakes. They are always a hit!

No time to bake? How cute are these Graveyard Cups? Super fun to make and decorate with the kiddos too. Even more fun to eat!

Join Me Next Summer for a Culinary Trip to Mackinac Island!

Have you heard I’m hosting culinary vacations? I’m super excited for my next trip in June 2021 to gorgeous Mackinac Island, Michigan. We’ll catch the ferry over to the Island and then check into the absolute best hotel! The Mission Point Resort was even voted one of the best hotels in the Midwest! We’ll spend 3 nights. We’ll have plenty of time to experience it all. We can take a carriage ride around the island, rent bikes, and take a sunset cocktail cruise. We’ll learn how to make Mackinac Island fudge at one of the island's best fudge shops. If you like wine, you’ll want to enjoy a 5-course gourmet wine dinner! We’ll be there when the lilacs are in full bloom, too! It’s going to be magical! The trip is already booking up! Click on Join The Cooking Mom on a Trip to Mackinac Island to read my blog post with details, pictures and pricing for the trip.

In September 2021, if it’s safe to travel I’m planning another big trip! Have you always wanted to go on a river cruise through Europe? It’s been on my bucket list! We’ll take a trip to Germany for Oktoberfest and a top-of-the-line river cruise through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland! In 2022, I’m working on trips to Ireland, Italy and more! To find out more about my other upcoming trips, click Culinary Vacations with The Cooking Mom. I’d also love to hear where you’d like to go, so email me at info@thecookingmom.com!
