Hi Cooking Moms, Dads & Friends, I hope you had a great week! It was a busy one for me. I got my daughter settled back at University of Minnesota. While in the Twin Cities I was on The Jason Show too cooking up my Slow Cooker Honey Lime Chicken. It’s one of my favorites this time of year! Makes the house smell so good! It’s perfect for your Super Bowl party too! Just put out tortillas and lots of fixin’s and you’ve got a healthy but delicious chicken taco bar! What fun! Speaking of tacos, January is National Soup month. Why not make my Taco Soup this weekend? It’s so easy and so good! Here’s another crazy easy soup recipe. It’s my Two Ingredient Creamy Tomato Soup. Yep, just two ingredients and you won’t believe how good it is. You can dress it up with a little basil if you like! I don't know about you but I love a bowl of piping hot soup and a great sandwich for dinner! My Hot Baked Ham and Cheese Sandwiches are some of the best sandwiches EVER! They are perfect for game day parties, too. Just make them up ahead and bake them when your gang is ready. Get out the napkins! I've got to warn you they are a bit messy! The messier the better in my book! Click Sandwiches for more toasty warm sandwich recipes. Looking for a quick easy chili recipe? My Quick Ranch Chili is always a winner! A packet of dry ranch dressing mix gives it so much flavor! Click Soups for more delicious chili, soup, and stew recipes. I serve chili with my Big Batch of Homemade Corn Bread. No more buying those blue boxes of corn bread mix. This is so much better and so easy breezy to make. You gotta try it! Warm out of the oven with my Honey Butter it’s heavenly! Click Sides for more favorite side dishes. For dessert, it’s gotta be something warm and cozy this time of year like my Easy Apple Crisp! Even easier, pick up a yellow cake mix and canned peaches and coconut and make my Coconut Peach Dump Cake. Like the name says you just dump it all together and bake it. Warm out of the oven with vanilla ice cream, it’s to die for! Click Desserts for more of my favorite dessert recipes. Order Amy's Cookbooks! If you like my recipes, I think you'll love my cookbooks!
